Under Siege in the Suburbs

Congratulations to Perth based artist, Abdul Abdullah for his latest exhibtion Siege, launched on Saturday June 21st, 2014. This  event comprises a collection of digitally remastered photographic works reflecting the anxiety and frustration felt by people from Abduls generation.  Specifically 'Siege' speaks to the the demonising of young Muslim objectified as' the other' in contemporary Western discourse.
