Today the Islamic Museum of Australia saw the launch of a report by Deakin University on the efficacy of the IMA in enhancing social cohesion outcomes. In addition to this was the presence of an OIC delegation headed by Sec. Gen. H.E. Imdad Madani, speaking to the value of art and social institutions in tackling misinformation. The idea of alternative narratives over counter narratives being essential to progressing discourse on Islam in the West, was also referenced.
Special guest Chef Greg Malouf (Crave, Dubai) joined MasterChef finalist Samira ElKhafir producing a sensational lunch.
A successful event attended by stakeholders and supporters of the IMA, heralding a year ahead of energy and innovation.
