Today I engaged in a very candid presentation for Leadership Victoria about my experiences in addressing gender and cultural diversity agendas at leadership level. The audience were a cohort of switched on CALD women leaders, aspiring for board and leadership roles that might impact social change and result in a more inclusive and representative society. The topics I covered, included:

• Board Diversity: Why diversity matters in the Boardroom and what this looks like

• I.e. contextualising the importance of diversity

• the opportunities and challenges at an individual level that this brings

Above all, I extolled the virtues of taking the plunge and not being daunted by difficulties.
