Had an amazing time today participating in a hypothetical panel for the #Earth@Peace Conference. It involved some seriously fine minds across spheres of academia, spirituality, politics and social justice. The hypothetical issue concerned a fictitious environmental crisis in the Pacific Islands region, triggering issues of Climate Refugees, foreign aid, international human rights responsibility and Indigenous community leadership.

I was honoured to be in the company of Assoc Prof Asmi Wood (ANU), Brian Walters AM QC, Prof Spencer Zifcak (UN, UNESCO), Moira Rayner, Dr Mark Zirnsak, Bishop Phillip Huggins, Bronwyn Lay (JSS), Jeannie Rea (NTEU) and Colin Long (Trades Hall).

A huge thank you to Prof Joseph Camilleri for organising the conference, along with Larry Marshall for brilliantly moderating this panel in what was a highly credible and thought provoking exercise #makechangehappen
