Presented at Hailebury College today, about the importance of diverse voices in the community getting traction and respect. Given the news of the past 24hours I was feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of making a presentation – but realised making the effort to be heard, was integral to my message; to speak before I’m spoken about. Am grateful for the warm welcome and feedback that ensued.
Mixed feelings of fatigue, sadness and lingering hope for peace, remain.
