Attended a dinner as a guest of Oxfam Australia with Winnie Byanima, Exec. Director of Oxfam International. Many voices contributed to a discourse of eradicating poverty, inequality and social injustice. The dire necessity for political engagement from grassroots and the private sector occasionally collide with shared ambitions for making change meaningful! Persistence is not negotiable. Winnie’s articulation in defining Oxfam’a sustainability goals reinforced the inextricable link between poverty and inequality.
