This season’s #TEDxMelbourne at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, aka, The Jeff Shed, was themed #AdventurousMinds. And expectations were met with an array of speakers bringing new ideas about in breaking convention with the way we think.
A warm and spirited Welcome to Country from Aunty Georgina set the scene for one of the best TEDx openings I’ve seen.
A flash mob surprise by ‘Open Door’ choir, performing ‘Freedom’, culminated in a full house participating in a group recording – it was pretty spectacular.
As the conference unfolded, the topics presented included:
ReDefining Girl Goals- trekking the Arctic
Finding acceptance, over resilience
Reversing your bucket-list
Digitised storytelling
Decoding Alzheimers
…and more
Session breaks were infused with some amazing food by Melb cuisine maestro, Guy Grossi.
Congrats to Curator Jon Yeo for pulling together yet another amazing conference, superbly hosted by a dynamic duo in Zara Grose and Troy Swindle.
