A splash of colour and good times at tonight’s Victorian Multicultural Commission’s 2016 Premier’s Gala Dinner- with 1400 representatives of Melbourne’s diverse communities ringing in Harmony Week celebrations.
This was an entertainment laden night, with speeches, dances and songs from cultures across the globe. A spectacular celebration of our diversity, this annual event is a reassuring sign in a climate of fear mongering peddled in wider society.
The networking potential was brilliant, as was the company and food.
